Technology Companies team up for new laser offer

A partnership between European businesses and universities will result in the launch of an innovative laser marking technology.
The partnership, which began in October, hopes to have a prototype machine up and running in one month's time. The group has created a laser marking technology it believes will benefit pharmaceutical companies and other brand owners wanting a counterfeitproof way to mark glass. The project is named NAGINELS: Non-Aggressive Glass Internal Engraving Laser System.
